Denise L. Clemons-Haughton, 36, a native of Galveston, Texas and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Friday, Oct. 28, 2011.
Mrs. Haughton was a receptionist at First Heritage Credit Company in Thibodaux.
She is survived by her husband, Oliver Haughton; daughters, Kerry McVey and Alexius Clemons-Bills; father, Aaron Clemons; stepsons, Oliver Jr. and Avrin Haughton; four sisters; two brothers; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jesse Henderson; one sister; and three brothers.
Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, at Williams & Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville, La., and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church in Bryan, Texas with services to follow. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Bryan. (Williams & Southall)
