Detroit Roy Jr., 59, a native of Raceland, La., and resident of Hammond, La., died Wednesday, March 21, 2012.
Mr. Roy was Baptist.
He is survived by his sisters, Deborah (James) Deseraux and Susie Shelvy; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Detroit Sr. and Augustine Roy.
Burial was at Young Ladies Benevolent Cemetery in Raceland. (Kennedy)
