Devaronte Carter, 15, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Baton Rouge, La., died Monday, June 25, 2012.
He is survived by his parents Alicia Holmes and Harold Carter; brothers, Harold and Kijana Holmes; sister, Ashley Cook; and grandfather, Sidney McBride.
He was preceded by his grandparents, Joyce McBride, William Tillman, and Willie Hubbard.
Burial was at Halfway Cemetery. (Kennedy)
