T’bonne’s Bayou Grace helping locals succeed
February 9, 2010Dillion “Dill Pickle” Shicksnider, 16, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died at 9:55 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010.
Dillion was Catholic. He received Life-Saving, Citizenship and Hero awards from Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre.
He is survived by his mother Tammy (Corey) Guidry; father, Zachary (Denise) Shicksnider; grandparents, Don and Priscilla Colombet, and Sidney Shicksnider and Audrey Doucet; nannies, Kelly Colombel and Nicole Clark; uncle, Don Colombel Jr.; sister, Brittany Shicksnider; stepsisters, Tara Wills, Harley and Chalyn Guidry, Kayla Billiot and Katie Bruce; and stepbrothers, Brent Mejia III and Donald Wills.
He was preceded in death by an uncle, James E. Pearson; and cousins, Danny, Kenneth, Jerry, Tim and Ted Plaisance.
He is buried at Our Lady of the Rosary Church Cemetery in Larose.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
