Donald “Duck” Davis, 49, a native and resident of Belle Rose, La., died at Assumption Community Hospital in Napoleonville, La., Wednesday, July 23.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian D. Davis of Belle Rose; his mother, Aldonia Washington of Paincourtville, La.; one stepdaughter, Brittney Diggs of Thibodaux, La.; four sisters, Dianne Ausbrooks of Paincourtville, Ethel Boutain of Bertrandville, La., Grace Rainey of Paincourtville and Carol Williams of Baton Rouge, La.; and five brothers, Joseph Washington of Thibodaux, Robert Washington of Huntsville, Al., Lawrence Davis of Paincourtville, Royal Davis of Thibodaux and Steven Davis of Ewellville, La.
He was preceded in death by his father; and his grandparents.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, August 2, at Cannon Baptist Church in Plattenville, La. followed by a religious service. He will be buried at the church cemetery.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of the arrangements.
