Donald Earl Thomas, 19, a native of Thibodaux, La., and a resident of Baton Rouge, La., died Wednesday, May 28.
He is survived by his parents, Kelvin and Tineaker Chisley of Covington, La., and Tonuannette Thomas of Baton Rouge; son, Ty’zavier Thomas of Covington; brothers, Juan Thomas of Baton Rouge, Kelvin Barnes, Keldon Barnes, Keldric Barnes and Malik Baham all of Covington; sisters, Renetta Thomas of Baton Rouge, Keltasha Baham of Covington, Kelly Boyd and Shelly Boyd of Thibodaux; grandparents Mary Thomas and Joseph Holmes, and Carol Williams of Tulsa, Ok., Bessie McDaniel of New Orleans, La.; and great-grandmother, Eula Mathews of Thibodaux.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ophelia Mitchell and Sterling Chisley Sr.; and great-grand father, Harry Mathews.
He was Baptist.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, June 2, at Moses Baptist Church in Thibodaux with a religious service to follow. He will be buried at the Moses Baptist Church Cemetery # 2 in Thibodaux. .
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
