Donald Richard Robinson Sr., 69, a native of New Orleans, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, November 19.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Buras Robinson of Houma; two daughters, Mary Richey and husband Johnnie of Powhatan, Ar., and Julie Fanguy and husband Edward of Houma; two sisters, Rita Godwin of Booneville, Ms., and Hazel Maniscalco of Arabi, La.; five grandchildren, Brad Fanguy, Hannah and Amber Robinson, Stephanie and Shawn Richey; and one great-grandchild, Morgan Babineaux.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross Robinson and Caroline Rabalis Robinson; one son, Donald ‘Bubba” Robinson Jr.; one grandson, Timothy Robinson; and one brother, Jules Robinson.
He was a retired security guard with Vincent Guard and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Word of Faith.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, November 21, and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, November 22, at Chauvin Funeral Home. A religious service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel, with burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
