Donna L. Scully Boutwell, 63, a native of Brownsville, Texas, and resident of Bayou L’Ourse, La., died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013.
Mrs. Boutwell loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed being fishing or taking care of her plants and had a passion for sewing. She was an avid billiards player and was awarded the “Top Gal” award for the APA Billiard’s League. She was the owner of Donna’s Hair Care for many years.
She is survived by her husband, George Boutwell; children, Melissa Chavers and Bobbie Jo and Bill (Sarah) Scully; stepchildren, George (Sandy) and Amy Boutwell; sisters, Martha Prudhomme, Brenda Melvin and Billie Bowdoin; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Odelia Angeron; and first husband, Joseph Scully.
Interment is at Morgan City Cemetery. (Twin City)
