June 16, 2011Doris Mae Adams Lindsay, 84, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 1:43 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2011.
Mrs. Lindsay was a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Houma.
She is survived by her sons, The Reverend Spencer Lindsay Jr. and Arthur (Jennifer) Lindsay Sr.; daughter, Sharon (Gerard) Pontiff; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Spencer Lindsay Sr.; parents, Thomas and Betty Adams; and brothers, Thomas, Donald and Earl Adams.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Matthews Episcopal Church.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, June 18, at Grace Lutheran Church with Requiem Eucharist to follow. Burial will be at Terrebonne Memorial Park. (Samart)
