Doris P. Zeringue, 85, a native of Westwego, La. and resident of Raceland, La. died Sunday December 9, 2007, at 1:20 p.m.
She is survived by her two sons, Simon Zeringue, Jr. and Daniel Zeringue; her daughter, Mary “Bonnie” Zeringue; 24 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Simon Zeringue, Sr.; her parents, Adam and Mary Bourgeois Perkins; one son, William Zeringue; and one daughter, Yvonne Theriot.
Doris was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Hilary Catholic Church.
Visitation is Tuesday, December 11, 2007, from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., with the funeral to follow at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Mathews, La. She will be buried in St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
