Gov.’s wife joins effort to build Gray Habitat home

Dorothy Lumar Brown, 72, a native of New Orleans, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, May 9, 2010.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her sons, Alvin Jr., Mark Sr., Darryl (Lonette), Joel (Aleathal) and Donald (Tammy) Brown; daughters, Yolanda Bonvillain, Troy (Barnard) Bonvillain, Patricia (James) Bonvillain and Stephanie (Dwight) Smith; brothers, Butch and Ricky Rixner; 28 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
She is buried at Bisland Cemetery
