Dorothy “Mama Neat” King Lyons, 88, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, La., died Thursday, November 6.
She is survived by her sons, Herman Lyons, Jr. and Huey P. Lyons; daughters, Patricia Wilson and Brenda Williams; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Lyons, Sr.; parents, Thomas and Olivia King; brothers, Norman “Billy” King and Freddie King, Sr.; and sister, Jennie King Percy.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, November 15 at Residence Baptist Church with the funeral services to follow. She will be buried at Union Benevolent Cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
