Dorothy Perkins Lirette

Dorothy Perkins Lirette, 86, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, April 26, 2013.

She is survived by her sons, Bob (Marilyn) and Kenny (Teresa) Lirette; daughters, Patricia Lirette, Wanda (Larry) Cook and Sharon (David) Neal; sisters, Bea Echette, Mary Daigle and Anna LeBlanc; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Lirette; parents, Joseph and Lydia Perkins; daughters, Margie McMeel and Delores Lirette; brothers, Sidney, Willie, Bill, Paul and Harold Perkins; sisters, Emma Duet, Elvina Rodrigue and Eve Nebel; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Burial is at St. Louis Catholic Church Cemetery. (Samart)
