Dudley J. Allemand, 79, a resident and native of Lockport, La., died at 6:58 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose, La. Mass will be held at 2 p.m. Friday with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Bertha Walker Allemand; two sisters, Eve Belle Fitch and Pearlie Thibodeaux; 3 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Abel and Eve Rogers Allemand; one daughter, Peggy Allemand, and one sister, Verlie Orgeron.

He was a parishoner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and a U.S. Navy Veteran.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
