April 2, 2014Dudley Mitchel Foret, 77, a native of Raceland, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, March 30, 2014.
Mr. Foret was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He worked at Evangeline Maid Bread for 33 years and was also an insurance agent for American General Life and Accident. He loved fishing and cooking and was known for having a great sense of humor. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his son, Morgan (Roxanne) Foret; daughters, Tammy (Keith) Savoie and Mary Beth (Burnell) Clement; brother, Stanley (Meryl) Foret; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, and 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, at Chauvin Funeral Home with Liturgy of the Word to follow. Burial will be at St Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Chauvin)
