Thibodaux Chamber hosts awards banquet
January 19, 2010Duffy Joseph LeBoeuf, 81, a native of Montegut, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010.
He is survived by his sons, Duffy James (Geraldine) and Charles Anthony LeBoeuf; sisters, Vivian (Oliver) Clement, Gloria (Hubert) Champagne and Audrey (Cleveland) Champagne; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Idola Boudreaux LeBoeuf; parents, Andrew and Emelisa Hotard LeBoeuf; brothers, Godfrey and Dudley LeBoeuf; and sisters, Josephine Lapeyrouse, Rose Foret, and Ada, Rita and Dorothy LeBoeuf.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of VFW Post 4752 and Shady Acres. He was a parishioner of St. Gregory Church.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18, at Falgout Funeral Home’s Chapel and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at St. Gregory Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at St. Francis II Cemetery.
