Earline Simpson

Earline “Mikki” Simpson, 69, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, La. died Friday, October 26, 2007.

She is survived by her son, Arthur Simpson; and two sisters, Louella Ligget and Ora Mae LaGarde.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nizin Dilon and Maggie Williams Simpson; one brother, Curtis Simpson, Sr.; and one sister, Venella Johnson.

Earline was a devout Christian and a member of Miracle of Faith Church of God in Christ and Eagle Wright Baptist Church. She was a member of the deaconess board and taught Sunday school.

Visitation is Friday November 2, 2007, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with the wake service to follow and the funeral will be held Saturday, November 3, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at Eagle Wright Baptist Church. She will be buried in Providence Memorial Park and Mausoleum.

Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
