Earline Taylor, 81, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Marrero, La., died Wednesday, January 28.
She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Jackson Varist and husband Fery of Marrero; brothers, Raymond Taylor and wife Patsy of Houma, and Herbey Taylor and wife Sandra of Forrest City, Ar.; sisters, Pearl Jones of Marrero, Firn Hite, Martha Turner and Genevieve Smith, all of Houma, and Jeanetta Granger of Morgan City, La.; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Jackson; parents, Johnny Taylor Sr. and Darcus Beloney Taylor; brother, Johnny Taylor Jr.; and sisters, Vivian Stewart and Bertha Beloney.
She was a member of J.J. Clement order of Eastern Star No. 14, Darcus Taylor Court of Cyrene and a senior usher at St. Luke Baptist Church. She was a retired beautician and a member of St. Luke Baptist church.
She was buried at St. Luke Baptist Church Cemetery.
Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
