Edia “Toot” Picou Dryden, 89, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at 2:55 p.m.
She is survived by her sons, Mike and Wayne Dryden; daughters, Delores Moate, Pat Pitre and Wanda Breaux; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 1 step great-grandchild; and four great great-granchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Dryden; parents, Louis J and Lena Lyons Picou; son, Elmer Fletcher; and brother, Wilson Picou.
Edia was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Church. She belonged to the Ladies Altar Society, Catholic Daughters and the East Park Ladies Auxillary.
Visitation will be 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 24, 2008, at Holy Rosary Church with the funeral to follow. She will be buried at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
