Edith Joseph Patterson, 69, a native of Belle Alliance, La., and a resident of Napoleonville, La., died at her home Sunday, October 5.
She is survived by her husband, Marks Patterson of Donaldsonville, La.; two daughters, Dianne Celestine and husband Ernest of Napoleonville, and Mary Ann Patterson of Donaldsonville; three sons, Marks Patterson Jr. of Franklin, La., Anthony Patterson of Belle Rose, La., and Shawn Patterson and wife Markell of Donaldsonville; five sisters, Adeline Johnson, Agenilla Joseph, Patricia Dorsey, Caroline Richard and Aleda Joseph; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Doris and Rogers Joseph; two brothers; and four sisters.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, October 11, at First Israel Baptist Church with a religious service to follow. She will be buried at the church cemetery.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of the arrangements.
