Edless J. “Pop” Melancon, 70, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and resident of Galliano, La., died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013.
He is survived by his sons, Jason and Jack Melancon; daughters, Sandra Hayes and Shannon Melancon; brothers, Paul and Edward Bourgeois; and sister, Jeanette Dufrene.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gale Melancon; parents, Jackson and Lorvena Melancon; and sister, Sylvia Melancon.
Burial is at Cheramie Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
