Edna A. Martin, 86, a native and resident of Des Allemands, La., died Wednesday, February 25, at 10:25 a.m.
She is survived by her sons, Malcolm Martin Jr. and wife Barbara, and Phil Martin and wife Lana; daughter, Judy Beadle and husband John; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Martin Sr.; parents, Hamilton and Lucia Baudoin Arceneaux; daughter, Juanita Bergeron; brothers, Lawrence Arceneaux, Roy Arceneaux, Hamilton Arceneaux Jr. and Huger Arceneaux; and sisters, Marguerite Bergeron and Celina Cortez.
She was a member of Des Allemands Mennonite Church and enjoyed quilting.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, February 27, and 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 28, at Des Allemands Mennonite Church. A religious service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church with burial at the church cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
