Edward Joseph “Pook” Mayon Jr., 66, a resident of Morgan City, La., died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013.
Mr. Mayon spent a majority of his life working offshore as a boat captain. He enjoyed woodworking and spoiling his nieces and nephews. He never met a stranger and would do anything for anybody.
He is survived by his mother, Clarice Mayon; and siblings, Sandra (Richard) Berube, Pamela Holt and Mark Sr. (Cindy) and Darren Sr. (Pam) Mayon.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Mayon Sr.
