Sightless entrepreneur sees giving as mission
April 15, 2011Edward J. Waguespack, a native of Raceland, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died at 2:15 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2011.
Mr. Waguespack was a member of the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1400 and a WWII Navy veteran. He was in the 73rd Seabees Construction Battalion.
He is survived by his sons, Michael (Pamela Thorton) and Ralph (Diana) Waguespack; four grandchildren, Kim Blankley, and Aaron, Tracey and Troy Waguespack; and two great-grandchildren, Skylar Blankley and Taylor Waguespack.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Angelina Danos Waguespack; son, Edward Waguespack; parents, Eusebe and Hermine Babin Waguespack; and siblings.
He is interred at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Larose, La. (Falgout)
