Edwin Joseph Truxillo Sr., 80, a native of Raceland, La., and resident of Gheens, La., died at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010.

He was a member of Raceland Presbyterian Church. He also enjoyed woodworking and fishing.

He is survived by his sons, Edwin Jr. (Margaret), Steven (Mercedes) and Damian Truxilllo; sisters, Victoria Mansfield, Frances Martin, Mae Clark and Rita Ladd; brother, Joseph Truxillo; 23 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

He is buried at Raceland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
