Edwin Paul Guidroz, 100, a native and resident of Larose, La., died Saturday, Aug. 8, at 6:30 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Enola Marie Rodriguez Guidroz; one son, Claude F. and wife Ruthie Guidroz; one son-in-law, Leroy “Tom” Kiffe; one sister, Hazel Bourgeois; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Allida Bruce Guidroz; one daughter, Noella Kiffe; three brothers, Harris “Buck”, Romain Guidroz and Nolan Guidroz; and two sisters, Gertrude Guidroz and Josephine Guidroz LeBlanc.
He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was the oldest member of Knights of Columbus Council No. 37 and the Holy Name Society.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
