Edwina Yowell Kilpatrick

Edwina Yowell Kilpatrick, 78, a native of Jacksboro, Texas, and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Dec. 20, 2013.

Mrs. Kilpatrick was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was fond of crocheting, quilting, arts and crafts and watching football. She was a member of Church of Christ and the Houma Lou Doll Association.

She is survived by her sons, Willis Jr. (Rochelle) and Lee (Dawn) Kilpatrick; brother, Pershing Yowell; sister, Ruth (John) LeMond; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Kilpatrick Sr.; parents, William and Rena Yowell; and siblings, Odell, Tillman, Bethel and Charles Yowell, Katherine McDonough and Mary Lou Cook.

Burial is at Garden of Memories Cemetery. (Chauvin)
