Elaine Blanchard

Elaine Guidry Blanchard, 89, a native of Breaux Bridge, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died at 5:37 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010.

Mrs. Blanchard was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin Joseph Blanchard; daughter, Mary (Gerald “Chip”) Torres; sister, Velma Mistretta; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Minos and Claudia Biggs Guidry; and two brothers, Bill and Carroll Guidry.

A private service was held.
