Elfie Ledet Savoie, 84, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Friday, January 25, 2008, at 9:56 p.m.
She is survived by two sons, Earl and Leo Savoie; six daughters, Bernadette Labat, Nora Abel, Sarada Hebert, Laverne Deroche, Susie White and Mary Bergeron; three sisters, Thelma Michel, Gloria Allen and Edga Mae Bourdreaux; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond P. Savoie; her parents, Edward and Nora Beard Ledet; one brother, Robert “Bozo” Ledet; and one grandson, Dale Babin Jr.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2008, at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral with mass to follow. She will be buried in the church cemetery.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
