Elgee “L.J.” Ordoyne, 72, a native and resident of Choctaw, La., died Wednesday, Aug. 19.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne “Sue” Delatte Ordoyne; two sons, Walter James Ordoyne and Michael Douglas Ordoyne and wife Shelly; one daughter-in-law, Geneva Ordoyne; six grandchildren, Angelle Andras, Ozzy Ordoyne, Randy Ordoyne, Cierra Ordoyne, Allie Ordoyne and Dax Ordoyne; and one great-grandchild, Brennon James Andras.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland and Tina Ordoyne; and one son, Wayne Gerard Ordoyne.
He enjoyed playing cards with his friends and he loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, to 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at the Choctaw Fire Station. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. James Chapel with burial at the church cemetery.
