Elise Agnes Klingman McGuyre, 84, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, November 5.
She is survived by one sister, Wilma Klingman Chiasson of Houma; two grandchildren, Jennifer Foster Thrasher and Christopher Henry Foster; two great-grandchildren, Thomas Coleman Thrasher and Andrew Lincoln Thrasher; one niece, Evelyn Chiasson Bailey; one nephew, Lester Chiasson; and other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Orman Harry Foster; her second husband, Wesley Verner McGuyre; her parents, Henry Jones Klingman and Agnes Helper Klingman; one son, Darryl Henry Foster; and one sister, Helen Klingman Guidry.
She was a retired secretary/clerk for Placid Oil Company, and she was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 10, at Chauvin Funeral Home with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at Terrebonne Memorial Park.
