Elizabeth “Eula Mae” Toups Adams, 74, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Chauvin, La., died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007, at 3:48 a.m.
She is survived by one son, Kerwin Adams and his wife Gina; two daughters, Debra Chaisson and Malane Naquin; one brother, Nolan Toups; four sisters, Alberta Miller, Marie Ray, Sally Guy, and Pauline Martin; five grandchildren, Cassie Theriot and her husband Craig, Keisha Foret and her husband Craig, Kade Naquin and his wife April, and Brittnie and Boadi Adams; four great-grandchildren, Colby Theriot, Alex Foret, Kade Naquin Jr. and Gabe Naquin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Clement Toups and Odeila Gautreaux Toups; two sons-in-law, Tracy Chaisson and Terry Naquin Jr.; five brothers, Louis Toups Jr., Morris Toups, Myron Toups, Carol Toups, and Clement Toups; and four sisters, Mildred, Molly, and Emaline Toups, and Roberta Hebert.
Elizabeth was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a homemaker.
Visitation is Monday August 6, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. She will be buried at Chauvin Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
