Elizabeth “Betty” Chamberlain, 74, a native of Labadieville, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died Friday, Feb. 14, 2014.
Mrs. Chamberlain was a volunteer at Raceland Junior High School and Raceland Recreation Center.
She is survived by her son, Chris Chamberlain; daughter, Michelle Matherne; brother, Gary Blanchard; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild, Landyn Bruce.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Chamberlain; daughter, Gretchen Benoit; and parents, Emile and Anna Blanchard.
Burial is at St. Mary Catholic Church Cemetery. (Falgout)
