Elizabeth Dardar Rousse, 45, a native of Golden Meadow, La. and resident of Cut Off, La. died Wednesday, December 5, 2007, at 7:00 p.m.

She is survived by her special friend, Larry Verdin; her husband, William Miles; her parents, Forest Matherne and Roy Luke; five daughters, Brandi Hebert, Rhonda Rogers, Laura Jackson, Shelby Jackson, and Emily Verdin; two brothers, Errol Kiger and Linwood Kiger, Jr.; two sisters, Carrie Kiger and Amanda Mayberry; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jace Rousse; and her mother, Mary Ann Dardar Matherne.

Elizabeth was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. She was an avid homemaker.

Visitation is Friday, December 7, 2007, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 8, 2007, from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off, with the funeral to follow at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose, La. She will be buried in the church cemetery.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
