‘Black Swan’ flick earning locals millions

Elmore Holmes, 64, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Saturday, March 5, 2011.
Mr. Holmes was a member of New Magnolia Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and caring for his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Olevia Holmes; sons, Elmo, Ronnie and Rodney (Tisha) Anderson; daughters, April Holmes, and Christi and Donna Anderson; brothers, Sterling, Raymond, Joseph, Michael and Willie Holmes; sister, Mercedes Tunson; Godchild, Patricia Pharagood; and 22 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Georgiana Holmes; three brothers, Jerome, Arthur and Leroy Holmes; six sisters, Shirley Pharagood, Hilda Mitchell, Joyce McBride, and Ruth, Rosetta and Marion Holmes.
He is buried at Halfway Cemetery. (Kennedy)
