Gov.’s wife joins effort to build Gray Habitat home

May 20, 2010Elmore A. Robinson, 84, a native and resident of Chackbay, La., died Wednesday, May 12, 2010.
Mr. Robinson was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served on the U.S.S. Guam in the South Pacific during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Clement Robinson; children, Don (Christine), Linda (Daniel) Richard, Larry, Thomas, Mary (John) Haddad and Bruce (Jenny) Robinson; brother, Joe Robinson; sister, Enola Percle; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He is buried at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church Cemetery in Chackbay.
