Elnora Robinson Johnson, 75, a native of Terrebonne, La., and a resident of Gibson, La., died on Wednesday, July 8, at 10:22 p.m.
She is survived by four sons, Earl Tyronne and wife Glenda Hasley Sr., Aaron and Sheila Watson Sr., Rev. Robert and Barbara Johnson and Karo Johnson; five daughters, Bobby J. Robinson, Geneva J. and husband Elmore Diggs Sr., Aline Johnson, Ora Mae J. Poindexter and Mattie and husband Calvin Lando; 19 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orel Johnson; parents, Earl and Geneva Washington Robinson; three sons, Mack, Charles and Ernest Johnson; and grandparents, Emmanuel and husband Jack Washington, Dora Allridge Warren and Susan Robinson.
She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church, where she was a choir member for 37 years, pastor aid and hospitality club member. She was a homemaker and liked to sing.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, at Community Funeral Home and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, at Beulah Baptist Church in Gibson with a religious service to follow.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
