Elvie Porche Jambon, 82, a native of Bayou Blue, La., and a resident of Golden Meadow, La., died at 11:35 a.m. Wednesday, November 12.
She is survived by one son, Tommy Edward Jambon; one daughter, Tammy J. Plaisance; one sister, Agnes Matherne Vito; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gage Joseph Jambon; her parents, Eddie and Onezia Pitre Porche; two brothers, Madio and Levy Porche; and three sisters, Inez Matherne, Mathilde Foret and Lena Martin.
She was Methodist.
She was buried at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
