
Woodburn residents want stop sign removed

September 9, 2010Emile Joseph Foret Sr., 79, a native of Raceland, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010.
Mr. Foret loved and celebrated life to the fullest and enjoyed Cajun music and dancing. He retired as Vice President Production Supervisor with Avondale Shipyards after 47 years of service.
He is survived by companion, Kathryn Thibodeaux; sons, Keith (Mary) and Emile Jr. (Ann) Foret; daughters, Linda (Robert) Ledoux and Phyllis (Ernest) Boudreaux; sisters, Annabelle Lirette and Laura Dufrene; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 9 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Entombment will be at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Cemetery.
