Emily Dennis Rodrigue, 94, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Tuesday, August 5.

She is survived by one son, Robert Rodrigue and wife Kathleen; one daughter-in-law, Deanna R. Ordoyne; one sister, Lottie D. Soignet; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude I. Rodrigue Sr.; her parents,

Ozies “Tobe” Dennis and Emily Webre Dennis; one son, Claude I. Rodrigue Jr.; two brothers, Michael and Clyde Dennis; and three sisters, Elizabeth D. Gervais, Pearl

D. George and Estelle D. Hitch.

Special thanks to the staff of Twin Oaks Nursing Home in LaPlace, La.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, August 8, at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux with mass to follow. She will be buried at the church cemetery.

Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
