Emma Bell Harvey, 85, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Friday, April4.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12, at St. Peter Baptist Church in Thibodaux with a religious service to follow. She will be buried at Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery # 2 in Thibodaux.
She is survived by her daughters, Irene Harvey and Pearl Johnson both of Thibodaux; sons, James Harvey Sr. and Edward Harvey Jr. of Thibodaux; 27 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and 34 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Harvey Jr.; parents, Rev. Lloyd and Alma Sylvan; daughter, Audrey Mae Johnson; sisters, Gustavia Powell and Clara Bradley; and grandparents Thomas and Clara Johnson
She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church. Her hobbies included fishing.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland, La. is in charge of the arrangements.
