Eric Raymond, 53, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011.
Mr. Raymond was Baptist.
He is survived by his brothers, Curtis, Stanley and Ulysses Raymond; and sisters, Joyce Porter, JoAnne Smith and Laverne Raymond.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson Sr. and Earline Raymond; brothers, Nelson Jr. and Gillis Raymond; sister, Shirley Poindexter; and grandparents, Johnny and Ethel Davis and Hampton and Bertha Raymond.
Visitation will be 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at New Vision Christian Community Church in Raceland with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery in Raceland. (Kennedy)
