September 6, 2011Ernest “Chick” John Griffin Jr., 75, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 1:10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011.
Mr. Griffin was also known as Paw-Paw fix. He enjoyed fishing and cooking cracklins’. He worked at Witco Chemical for more than 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys Griffin; daughters, Lisa (Andre) Karr, Kelly (Carroll Jr.) Voisin, Stacey (Randy) Lagarde and Torey (Robert) Smith; brother, Wallace Griffin; sister, Elda Hebert; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Sr. and Elda Griffin; granddaughter, Casie Voisin; brothers, Howard and Peter Griffin; and sister, Eunice Robichaux.
Burial was at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Falgout)
