Ernest P. Adams, 70, a native of Raceland, La., and a resident of Mathews, La., died Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 4 a.m.
He is survived by three sons, Michael Foret, Kerry Adams and Shane Adams; two daughters, Kimberly Foret and Cynthia Foret; three brothers, Edward, Lilier Jr. and Nessey Adams; three sisters, Velma Plaisance, Shirley Pierce and Eula Savoie; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma S. Adams; parents, Lilier Adams Sr. and Alexina Adams; two brothers, Richard and Norwin Adams; and one sister, Esma Orgeron.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the VFW. He was a parishioner of St. Hilary Catholic Church in Raceland.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at St. Hilary Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at Resurrection Memorial Park in Raceland.
Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
