Esther P. Rodriguez, 91, a native and resident of Mathews, La., died Friday, Feb. 14, 2014.
She is survived by her sons, Alex and Dean Rodriguez; daughter, Sharon Adams; brother, Gilbert Plaisance; sisters, Elsie Matherne and Velma Arabie; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Emmett Rodriguez; second husband, Merlin Boudreaux; sons, Rodney and Barry Rodriguez; parents, Alex and Amelia Plaisance; three brothers; nine sisters; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, and 8 to 10:45 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 18, at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland, La., with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at Resurrection Memorial Park Cemetery. (Falgout)
