Ethel Dugas Menuet, 92, a native and resident of Napoleonville, La., died at her home at 7:55 p.m. Monday, September 22.
She is survived by one daughter, Colette Menuet Chauvin and husband Dewey Chauvin; one son, Robert L. Menuet and wife Jacqueline Chauvin Menuet; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Foley Menuet; two sisters and two brothers, Dorothy Dugas Aucoin, Minta Dugas, Xavier Dugas and Claiborne Dugas; grandchildren, Rebecca, Michael, Yvette, Dione, Beau James, Dr. Robert Menuet II, Thomas, Seth, D.J., April and Alison; step-grandchildren, Brandon, Wayne, Alma, Munsye and Jacqueline; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Judge J. Adolph Menuet; her parents, Xavier Dugas and Minta Joffrion Dugas; one daughter, Irene Menuet Daigle; one son, Adolph X. Menuet Sr.; one brother, Joseph Adolph Dugas; and one granddaughter, Elizabeth Mary Menuet.
She was a devout Catholic, a loving wife and mother and a homemaker.
She was buried at St. Anne Catholic Church Cemetery in Napoleonville.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
