Etra Dupuis, 86, a resident of Morgan City, La., died Sunday, June 26, 2011.
Mrs. Dupuis was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend. She was a wonderful cook who could make an ordinary meal absolutely extraordinary.
She is survived by her daughters, Jeanette (Tilton) Driskill, Gayle Falgout and Beverly (Henry) Driskill; sons, Forest (Delilah), Charles (Marylyn) and Lloyd Dupuis; 15 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Dupuis; sons, Vorest and Leroy Dupuis; parents; brothers; and sisters.
Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, at St. Thomas Catholic Church Hall in Palmetto, La., with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Thomas Catholic Church. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Hargrave)
