Eugene Dumas, Jr., 41, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Saturday, May 9.
He is survived by his parents, Barbara S. Dumas and Eugene Dumas, Sr.; sons, Michael Ruiz, Eugene Dumas III, and Aaron T. Dumas; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Dwayne Charles Dumas; and grandparents, Mable Starks, and Joshua and Mary Dumas.
He was Catholic and a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. He was a U. S. Army Veteran and he served in the Gulf War and a 1985 Thibodaux High School Graduate. He enjoyed movies, reading and computers, and was a communition operator.
Visitation will be 8 to 10 a.m. Friday, May 15, at Community Funeral Home, 230 S. Hollywood Road, Houma, La. with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at Allen Benevolent Cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
