April 11, 2012Eugene J. “Geno” Ledet, 82, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died at 2:30 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012.
Mr. Ledet was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and an avid oil field worker. He was a beloved family man who was very deep in his faith.
He is survived by his sons, Jody, Barney and Geno Ledet; daughters, Vicky Guidry and Leslie Felarise; brother, Jessie Ledet; sisters, Felicia Cheramie and Bea Stenmetz; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Ledet; parents, Eugene and Lucille Ledet; son, Druis Ledet; brothers, Enos, Druis and Hewitt Ledet; and sisters, Sadie Rhodes, Gladys Bouzigard, Inez Henery, Hazel Plaisance and Dot Autin.
Burial was at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
