Eugene Theriot

Eugene Joseph Theriot Sr., 82, a native of Gheens, La., and a resident of Bogalusa, La., died at 12:35 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010.

Mr. Theriot was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.

He is survived by his sons, Eugene Jr. (Ethel), Allen (Darlene), Harris (Theresa) and Jorden Theriot; daughters, Mabel Theriot, Rosalinda (Potchie) Blanchard, Barbara (Jimmy) Cook and Jo (Goat) Gautreaux; brothers, Abel Jr., Lee, Adam, Raleigh, Rogers, and Robert Theriot; sisters, Nellie St. Pierre, Rosey Darcey, Claudia Chouest, Beverly Chauvin and Linda Theriot; 28 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22 and 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 23 at Falgout Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Savior Catholic Church with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
